We only received a full listing of the data required by the Polish jamboree team in May of 2026<\/span>. Unfortunately, our best guess <\/span><\/span>in 2025 <\/span><\/span>about what the Jamboree would ask for <\/span><\/span>was missing a few things!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This means we need to gather <\/span><\/span>some more<\/span> <\/span>information from you<\/span>. This is also a good opportunity for you to check that all your information is correct. Once we <\/span><\/span>submit<\/span> <\/span>your data to the Poland Jamboree team, it will be <\/span><\/span>very difficult<\/span> <\/span>for us to make changes.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

As well <\/span><\/span>as your basic registration data<\/span>, we need to collect some health information<\/span> <\/span>that will help us ensure you hav<\/span>e a safe time at the jamboree. This information needs to be stored in a separate registration system that meets certain privacy law<\/span>s <\/span><\/span>pertaining to<\/span> <\/span>medical data.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> <\/span><\/span>e<\/span>PACT<\/span> <\/span>system <\/span><\/span>meets or exceeds privacy requirements set by HIPAA in the US and PIPA, PIPEDA, and FOIPPA in Canada.<\/span> <\/span><\/span>So, yes, your information is safe in our hands, and only required information will be shared with the Poland Jamboree team.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Within the Canadian Contingent, the information collected will only be available to the Health and Safety Team, our Admin and Finance Deputy, and our Head of Contingent.<\/span> <\/span>We <\/span><\/span>are also required to<\/span> <\/span>share specific information with Jamboree. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Travel team will also have limited access to <\/span>data from <\/span>the travel page <\/span>to<\/span> <\/span>facilitate<\/span> <\/span>booking fl<\/span>ights to and from the Jamboree, but not any medical information.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This includes chronic conditions, serious allergies, and specific medical needs. <\/span><\/span><\/span>This i<\/span><\/span><\/span>mportant health information <\/span><\/span><\/span>helps us make sure you have a safe jamboree experience<\/span><\/span><\/span>. Withholding information <\/span><\/span>regarding<\/span> <\/span>medical conditions can create serious risks and make emergency treatment more difficult. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It is important that both youth and their parents\/guardians <\/span><\/span>are aware of <\/span><\/span>the rules and expectations for the camp<\/span>. Failure to uphold the code of conduct <\/span><\/span>could <\/span><\/span>have ramifications<\/span> <\/span>for both the youth and the parents\/guardians<\/span>, since<\/span> <\/span><\/span>in severe cases<\/span> <\/span>the youth<\/span> <\/span><\/span>may be <\/span><\/span>sent home from camp<\/span> <\/span>at the<\/span><\/span>ir<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span>parent\/<\/span>guardian<\/span><\/span>\u2019<\/span><\/span><\/span>s<\/span> <\/span>expense.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, it is <\/span><\/span>very important<\/span> <\/span>that all parties understand and agree to the grou<\/span>nd rules we are setting.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Parents\/<\/span>g<\/span>uardians are asked to complete the form for <\/span><\/span>youth p<\/span>articipants, while both you and parents are required to review the code of conduct and sign their acceptance of it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Adults<\/span><\/span> are expected to complete their own medical profiles, and accept the code of conduct on the<\/span>ir own. <\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

We ask that you review and correct any errors o<\/span>r <\/span><\/span>make any <\/span><\/span>changes that are <\/span><\/span>r<\/span>equired<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Once the form is completed, you can go back and edit the information provided by clicking the \u201cMy <\/span><\/span>e<\/span>PACT\u201d tab in the top left corner of the browser, click the name of the person whose form you wish to edit, and then<\/span> <\/span>select<\/span> <\/span>\u201cScouts Canada WSJ 2027 Adult<\/span>\/Youth<\/span>\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This will bring you into the completed form and allow you to make changes to update any information that has changed.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
